DAY 31!!! Savannah days and Athens nights!

Posted on: February 8th, 2012 by joosy 1 Comment

We woke up and got the bikes out to make some videos and go meet people on the streets of Savannah. Today is definitely the coldest day yet! Got some lovely shots of Savannah down by the river and along the beautiful parks and moss trees. Such a New Orleansy little town. Around 11 we found a lovely group of Occupiers in the park and got a great interview (which I am sure they have been interviewed many many times) on what was going on in Savannah and America. We then went over to meet my friend jade for lunch at Zunzis which is an amazing sandwich place. Oh my! thanks Theron for that one. Went back to the bnb and interviewed our host Bob who had been in Savannah for over 30 years. Quite a great day of interviewing and different opinions on all levels. We finished up and started heading towards Athens around sundown. Took us 4 hours and lots of backroads but we finally made it around 9, walked the downtown area and got some quick dinner. In for an early night to get up and see what this lovely college town has to offer tomorrow for Photamerica!
