Photamerica

Got up at the crack of dawn to meet up with Mel to get a silk and conditioning lesson. I am trying to meet up with a person in each state that exemplifies some modern form of exercise in their state and hopefully they can give me a bit of their exercise routine so I can take it with me on the road. I am calling it road aerobics and Mel does some amazing work here in Atlanta and really wanted her to tell me more about it while she gives me some conditioning exercises that might help me while on Photamerica. She is such an amazing person and really love what she is doing here in Atlanta. Around mid morning I pushed out towards Alabama and stopped at the Georgia state line to say good bye and take some pics. I got to Montgomery and my dear friend Jaymees house around 2 and we were soon to hit the road and get things ready for Alabama. Was soon to find that Montogmery has a rich history in civil rights alongside other interesting things like a huge Shakespeare presence and Hank Williams. Jaymee took me out for Pizza and in the 4 hours of light we made good ground shooting all over downtown and meeting up with friend Ashley who moved here last October to work for the Southern Poverty Law Center. She is so lovely and gave us a great interview in front of the civil rights museum. We grabbed everything and even got a picture of Shakespeare before the afternoon ended. Met up with lots of Jaymees friends for drinks and dinner and talked a bit about Alabama and Montgomery. Lovely people. Thanks Vic, Bobo, Skeeter, Jill, and Allan. What southern names! Jill and Allan gave me a great interview late night before I passed out. Alabama has lots to do. Here we go!
