Woke up on the triple layer bean bag by the door and recharged all of the batteries, lsat day of the festival means lots of things going on. Headed over for breakfast provided by numerous of the awesome restaurants in town. Then went to a secret screening that I can’t mention because it deals with someone famous and it really wasn’t that good. Love secrets but boo on that. Shot some bands, met up with Cheree and then went to see an amazing film that really hits to the heart of the America bubble burst and rich and poor and rich becoming poor. Truly blown away by the candid nature these filmmakers are achieving with their subjects! The film was called Queen of Versaille (http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/the-queen-of-versailles/sundance-insider) and her photography work on American culture and especially women and girls is amazing (http://www.laurengreenfield.com/). After that grabbed some food and shot some more fun with Cheree until closing ceremonies and hands down the best film of the festival, Searching for Sugarman. Wow, cinematography and storyline just goes to show that there are some amazing stories out there and humble people who just do lovely things. My dear friend Amanda Rainey helped put it all together and it was just flawless. I am so moved by film and music and they just go hand together in Columbia MO.
