DAY 2. Morning glory Hawaii

Posted on: January 8th, 2012 by joosy 1 Comment

Landed in Hawaii at 5am and contacted a couch surfer who responded immediately to meet up and show me around the island. I rented a car and cruised as far east to see the most splendid sunset! What a way to start at trip. After lovely breakfast I met up with George Clark who is just a gem of man who loves to show off his Hawaii to people coming in. He drove my car and we cruised the whole island in less than 8 hours, from beach to beach, military compound to next, and surf to surf. He had loads of wonderful history piled in which good additions to how he perceived America today. I was in bed by 10pm and up early to see more! Thanks George and thanks lovely Hawaii!

  1. George is the man! I love those shorts! Remind of Bermuda shorts back in the day. Did you get that close to that great big turtle? Love the photos and the posts, Josh. Keep ’em comin’!
