DAY 27!!! FLoriding into Georgia

Posted on: February 3rd, 2012 by joosy 1 Comment

Woke up at 8 and met Victor, Jess and Jordan’s lovely baby. Such a happy little squirt. Stayed in this morning and uploaded more and did some emailing. We all went to lunch around noon and then headed into downtown Jacksonville to see the river, the one thing that makes this city different than other cities in Florida. Went walking downtown and met Jay in his shop called “Straight and Narrow” I saw it last night at the art walk and noticed his awesome shirts and usage of purple art (always gets me). He was an excellent spokesman for America. My main mission was to find Joshua Dunn, when we came through Jacksonville last year touring with our band J-tran, we met this awesome guy. I had to find him and get his opinion on America. Got some good videos of the river and headed back to say goodbye and finally, finally leave Florida. I took the backwoods route through GA and have made it to Macon, GA after hours of driving. Listening to the “Hunger Games” on audible and just can’t stop. Working tonight on images from Florida and Hawaii. Katie is flying to Atlanta tomorrow and will join me once again for 5 days, I am about to sleep and couldn’t be happier! Photamerica out!

  1. Victor’s the cutest! The color-coordinated bookshelves fascinate me. As so the rings around what looks like a drive-up bank. Wild!
