Good friend Rachel got over to the Merginy at 7am and we started getting ready for Mardi Gras. Haven’t been down to celebrate since I was 20 years old so didn’t really know what to expect and especially here in the Merginy. Awesome. That is all I have to say. We dressed, readied, and hit the streets from 10 – 6pm. The pictures prove that New Orleans is amazing during Mardi Gras. The city comes alive and comes together and just parties and dances. You gotta love that. So much fun. Passed out early, for 12 hours. jeez, probably the only time that will happen this year!
