Got up and out into downtown for breakfast/lunch in Kansas City and started at a lovely Coffee shop called Mildred’s. Soon met the lovely staff and Josaiah gave us an interview on what was going on in KC. Austin the owner then gave us a map and told us some other lovely things to do especially in the crossroads area. Apperntley in the in the mid 80’s Jim Leedy (a ceramic artist) bought a warehouse down here and turned the neighborhood around. Today it is full of lovely shops, warehouse studios, and home to the new Kaufman center for the performing arts. amazing building and good view of city! We shot up around and went to print shops and visited stores. We ate some barbecue at Jacks stacks and then headed back towards Columbia. Dropped sweet Amanda off and headed into the night to St. Louis. Staying with good friend of Amanda’s, Nick D’angelo. Good man! Off to see the city in the morning! photamerica out!
